The formula of this polish was pretty opaque and non-streaky for an Essie. It was slightly thick, but that just made it more opaque. 2 coats worked perfectly.
The photos below are slightly brighter than the color is in real life. It's an eye-catching blue, but it's more subdued than the vibrant color you see below.

Surprisingly, I don't own a lot of medium blues so there's not much to compare it to. But I thought I'd put it beside China Glaze's "For Audrey" (even though the two are not very similar at all) since I know it's such a well-loved polish owned by many and allows you compare a bit.
Overall beautiful polish.

It looks gorgeous, I have For Audrey which is also a beautiful colour but I see what you mean about the Essie looking blue-r than it is - still a very beautiful polish, Essie are such a good brand.
