Enlarge the photos if you can't see the gold. It's part of why I love this polish so much.

Pros
- "Mermaid's Tale" will look good on any skin tone.
- It's half the price of it's duplicate Zoya "Charla"
- Decent formula. Opaque in two coats.
- Even though a bottle of JulieG polished is priced at $3.99 (compared to Zoya's $8.00), a bottle only holds .35 fl. oz. (compared to Zoya's .5 fl. oz.). It's still definitely worth it though, since I highly doubt most people finish entire bottles of nail polish for that last .15 fl. oz. to matter.
Final Verdict: For someone who is very wary of finding cheaper duplicates of polishes because often they reiterate the saying that "you get what you pay for," JulieG's "Mermaid's Tale" was a very decent formula for the price. The color itself is amazing and is worth getting if you're someone who has wanted Zoya's "Charla" but, like me, just never picked it up.
