Today's notd is an for an older polish, Essie's "Bahama Mama." This polish is one that I use fairly often throughout the colder seasons. "Bahama Mama" is a deep berry shade that seems to dance the line between a cream and jelly finish.

The formula on this polish is not great. I normally apply 3 thin coats, but even then, if you get significant sunlight on your fingers (because for whatever reason the sun highlights streaky-ness in nail polish application), you can clearly see streaks. But it's sufficient enough if you're stubborn and don't want to apply more. I've become accustomed to Essie's sub-par formula that it doesn't bother me all that much. "Bahama Mama" is such a wearable color and has the right about of color and darkness for winter that it really has become a staple for this season.

That's all for today's notd. It's a decent polish that I find myself returning to from time to time. Not entirely ground-breaking, but I'm clearly fond enough of it to continue using it despite my growing collection. Not quite as exciting as the last TFIOS-themed one, though I do have another one in mind. (;
the in between jelly-creme finish is so lovely!
